Dupuytren's Contracture

Treatment of progressive finger contracture from Dupuytren's disease.

Straightening contracted fingers

Dupuytren’s disease produces cords of scar-like tissue in the palm that progressively pull fingers into a bent position. Dr. Steffen will evaluate the stage and severity of your disease and discuss the appropriate treatment — including surgical fasciectomy and, in selected cases, needle aponeurotomy or injection therapy.

Coverage

Treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture is typically covered by insurance.
