Morpheus8 is an incredible device we use at Steffen Med Spa to tighten the skin and improve its appearance using microneedling and radiofrequency in the same device. It helps patients look younger, smoother, and more vibrant after a series of treatments.
It has been proven effective for stretch marks, scars, loose skin, and wrinkles. The treatments are certainly not as dramatic as facelift, necklift, blepharoplasty, or tummy tuck — but Morpheus8 is the next best thing. The procedure is nonsurgical with minimal downtime. Swelling and bruising are usually minimal and short-lived.
How it works
The combination of microneedling and radiofrequency helps increase collagen production and can also be used to destroy some superficial unwanted fat. It’s safe for most skin types. At Steffen Med Spa we use topical numbing and some medications by mouth to optimize comfort. For body treatments we use tumescent solution for additional comfort.
An unexpected use: hyperhidrosis
Morpheus8 can be used to permanently correct excessive sweating in the armpits (hyperhidrosis). If this is a problem for you, ask for a consultation.
Common treatment areas
Face, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, neck, jowls, under-eyes, cheeks, arms, tummy, and above the knees. The appearance is improved almost immediately, but continued improvements are expected in the months following. Sessions are usually 3–4 weeks apart.
